The regulation is set up to ensure the management of students who have won scholarship (Chinese Government Scholarship, Chinese Government Scholarship - University Postgraduate Program, Chancellor’s Scholarship), and ensure them playing an exemplary role among other students.

USTB reserves the final explanation for this regulation.

1. Registration

(1). International students who have won scholarships should register on time. If there are adequate reasons for the delay, they should apply for an approval to the international students center. Being approved, the register time can be postponed. The scholarship will be canceled for delaying with no reason.

(2). Students should sign for their scholarship as confirmation. Delay for signing without causes will be regarded as giving up their scholarship.

(3). Students should register within the required period each semester. Delay for registration without adequate reasons will be regarded as absence and the scholarship will be cancelled.

2. Accommodation

(1). International students center will provide a double-room for every scholarship winner for free. Students should obey the dormitory rules and cooperate with dormitory management.

(2). Students who do not live in their dormitory for more than 10 days, and do not register in the information desk, it will be regarded as giving up the room. The dormitory reserves the rights for arranging the room for others.

(3). Students who live off campus will be regarded as giving up their dormitory room, and the living fee will not provided by international students center.

3. Living allowance

(1). The living allowance will be provided around the 15th of every month to their card(Bank of China).

(2). Students who lose their card should report the loss to the bank, and update their new information at the international students center. The Center will not re-issue the allowance for card loss.

(3). The suspend scholarship will be issued in the next month or cancelled due to the performance of students.

4. Visa

(1). Students should extend their visa a month ahead the expiry.

(2). Students whose visa expired for personal reasons will lose their scholarship.

(3). Students make their visa expired for reasons like travelling or returning to their countries need to apply for the JW202 at their own expense, 415RMB/each time.

5. Annual review

(1). Students should participate in the annual review each April, or will be regard as giving up the scholarship.

(2). Chinese language learning students whose average academic results below 85 during the learning period, will have their scholarship cancelled.

(3). Chinese language learning students who do not pass the HSK5 will lose their scholarship.

(4). Students who violate Chinese laws, school regulations, their scholarship will be suspended or cancelled as punishment.
